Opening an investment account is free, quick and easy. There are no obligations and they can be established over the phone, by email or in person.
Fast Share Sale Facility
Sentinel offers a fast track “Selling Only” facility for those who would like to sell their shares without the need to go through the full account opening process!
What do I need to provide?
You will need to provide us with:
1)Â Details of your Issuer Sponsored shareholding.
These details include:
- Exact shareholder name
- Exact shareholder address
- Number of shares owned
- Your Shareholder Reference Number (SRN)
A copy of a holdings or dividend statement will provide you with these required details.
2)Â A Certified copy of Identification - What is a certified copy?
The easiest way to certifiy your ID is to either visit our office in person (where we will certify the documents free of charge), or visit an Australia Post outlet where they can be certified and then express posted to our office!
What is the Process?
Upon contacting Sentinel Stockbroking we will walk you through the following steps:
- We will ask you for the details relating to your share holding.
- We will then ask you for proof of identity.
- Upon confirmation of the above details, we will place the shares for sale on the stockmarket.
- Once sold, a trade confirmation (receipt) and a cheque for the proceeds will be mailed to you – this generally takes between 5-7 business days to arrive (allowing for trade settlement and postage time).
What does it cost?
Standard brokerage charges apply to the transaction. These will be quoted to you over the phone or via email at the time.
